Company Description
HRG Consulting Co. is a world-class service provider specializing in engineering/Design,
Management and innovation consulting, Research and development, and prototyping of complex
custom electro-mechanical machinery, automation and processing exotic plastic and polymer
products. Established in 1997, HRG consulting began as a Lean and six sigma training service
and provider expanded to R&D and designing complex custom machinery. In last 4 years, HRG
consulting greatly increased its diversification by expanding training programs to include
innovation training for marketing/sales and manufacturing divisions in different industries. The
company continues to evolve and expand products and services to establish a “One-Stop” service

Why are our services critical to your organization?
A true lean enterprise represents a path to significant and rapid improvement. The idea of being an efficient and productive business with limited waste is desired by all businesses. However, many organizations, although desiring these attributes, have difficulty achieving them.
LEAN, SIX Sigma and INNOvation
HRG Consulting Company will help your company to determine the right path toward more efficient, profitable, and innovative organization. We will evaluate your business and market to determine which or if all of the key concepts (Lean, Six Sigma, or Innovation training) would be critical.
Lean
The focus of lean is the elimination of waste of all types by concentrating on only what is required by the customer. From manufacturing perspective, such a system produces only the kind of units needed, at the time needed, and in the quantities needed. There are many tools available for achieving these tasks. One example is demand flow system, which provides shorter cycle time, lower overhead, and improved quality. This results in greatly reduced inventory and a dramatic cost reduction.
There are also some limitation associated with lean concept when the problems are unknown. One limitation is when the problems are complex and many variables are involved. In this situation Six Sigma approach becomes very effective to identify the problems. The other limitation is creating a long lasting solutions while the organization is going under more stress during the cost cutting, growth and change. Lean-Motive will be helpful to deal with this limitation.
Six Sigma
One other useful concept is six sigma approach. When the solution to a problem is unknown, and there are many variables, six sigma will be very helpful. There are situations when six sigma tools should be used to analyze the problems and control them. Unfortunately six sigma projects takes too long and it requires a commitment from different areas of the organization typically for 4 to 6 month. In order to resolve the timing issue, lean concept suggest using lean tools like Kaizen events to solve the problems within shorter period of time. Obviously the effort over the longer period using six sigma is not as intense as using the Kaizen events, but time is money and in some situations one month could add up to millions of dollars.
Innovation Training and Implementation
The ability to find, create, and capitalize new product and service ideas sets highly successful manufacturing companies apart, especially in complex, fast-moving global markets. Many experts have written on the subject of innovation and suggested critical success factors, some of which have been proven through experience.
To sustain a high level of innovation, successful companies bring together people, process, and technology and look beyond their walls for expertise and ideas. HRG consulting is widely recognized for its ability to help companies to continuously launch highly innovative products in its core markets, as well as enter or create new markets. The HRG Consulting through available experts has also assisted other manufacturers in implementing a technology infrastructure and adapting people’s work habits and processes to use innovative techniques in manufacturing and engineering. The result is faster, more successful research and development that produces a flow of innovative new products over time for sustainable competitive advantage. Collaboration platforms, virtualization, unified communications, and other powerful network-based technologies have moved beyond early adopters, and the business benefits achieved indicate that companies who do not adopt these methods will fall behind competitors who do. During recession or down turns, manufacturers focused on cost cutting, retaining customers, and operating a lean supply chain but being more innovative is another effective way to survive or stay competitive. As economies recover, future market leaders are making bold strategic moves to gain share. Manufacturers must be positioned to satisfy the increasingly complex needs of customers globally. In addition, growth in competition has driven reduced margins and an imperative for shorter new product introduction cycles. Investments in the ability to speed development and create more targeted products and services will position individual manufacturing companies to fully capitalize on economic growth, improve margins, and fundamentally strengthen long-term competitive position.
Innovation is novelty that creates value for customers and society as a whole. It’s something unique, and in the context of a manufacturing business, product and service offerings that serve customer needs better, creating differentiated experiences for customers, competitive advantage, and improved revenue and margins. Innovation program can be sustaining to maintain a lead in an existing market, or disruptive to create new markets or fundamentally change the elements of competition.
Even though innovation is recognized to be very important to commercial success, only 38 percent of U.S. companies and 32 percent of European companies report that their innovation efforts yield a steady stream of results.
Many aspects of the business, markets, and ecosystem impact a company’s ability to innovate successfully. HRG Consulting Company has a training program to introduce different techniques for designers and manufacturing experts to be more innovative. Please contact us if you are interested in this program.
SERVICES (DEBURRING, Part and mold Cleaning)
HRG consulting company has several sites to offer Deburring services. This service is beneficial for companies involved in machining Brass, Aluminum, and plastic/polymer parts that results in labor intensive deburring secondary operation. This service in many cases reduces the deburring time up to 80%.
HRG Consulting Company also offers Part and mold cleaning services. This service is beneficial for injection molding and compression molding manufacturing companies where mold cleaning is a major part of set up. Our equipment will reduce the cleaning time/mold change over up to 70 percent in some cases.
